Born and raised in Carlyle, Saskatchewan, Rob practiced at two large Saskatchewan firms in both Regina and Saskatoon before being appointed to act as the Chief of Staff to Saskatchewan’s Minister of Corrections, Public Safety and Policing in November 2007. Rob took the opportunity to move back to the area he grew up in by joining our office when returning to private practice in March 2012.
Rob joined SaskPower’s Board of Directors in November 2018, and was appointed Chair of the Board’s Governance and Human Resources Committee in 2022.
Rob completed the ICD-Rotman Directors Education Program administered by the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD) and the Rotman School of Management in October, 2020, receiving his ICD.D designation in November, 2020.
Rob’s practice focuses on oil and gas, corporate/commercial transactions, corporate law and governance, residential and commercial real estate, and wills and estates.
